What is the purpose of education? What are we seeking when we attend school? What are we looking for in education?

  •  Education has the ability to foster a love of reading. By studying the literary and rhetorical aspects of text we better understand the text, which leads to greater appreciation. This also helps develop the students critical thinking skills.
  • Education has the ability to help students discover their self-identity. By developing and retaining knowledge, we develop the ability to question the knowledge itself and where it comes from. This helps the students develop critical thinking skills.
  • Education has the ability to help us discover and fulfill our individual passions and ambition levels.

Test payment

Just a reminder that the AP Language and Composition test payment is due tomorrow in guidance. The amount is $87 and they are requesting that you pay in check or money order, not in cash.
